Copper, magnesium, manganese, zinc, silicon and nickel are the most commonly used alloying elements in solution strengthening of general aluminium sheets. Generally, the alloying of aluminium sheets constitutes a limited solid solution, such as Al-Cu, Al-Mg, Al-Zn, Al-Si, Al-Mn binary alloys, which constitute a limited solid solution, and have a greater limit solubility to play a greater solid solution strengthening effect.
The hardness function of the strengthened aluminium sheet will be significantly improved, but its hardness can not always be improved; when the upper limit of hardness is reached, no matter what method, it can not continue to improve the hardness of the aluminium sheet, only the brand with higher basic hardness can be selected.
